western nc donation

LITTLE CHURCH BIG HEART

A generous and heartfelt donation of $29,000 was given by the congregation of Airy Grove to Samaritan's Purse to aid in helping the people of Western, NC who experienced devastation during the wake of hurricane Helene.  Debbie Roberts volunteered several days of her time in the Black Mountain area to help distribute food and work in the relief effort.  Upon returning home, Debbie shared stories of how she witnessed many acts of kindness and God at work, first hand. The congregation was inspired and unanimously voted to give a significant donation from monies which they had raised in past years from various church fundraisers as well as donations at large from the congregation. Their collective efforts and generosity made a significant impact, bringing hope and relief to those affected by the hurricane.
